It inherits the educational culture of Shenzhen Middle School, takes the mission of building a “domestically exemplary and internationally renowned new educational highland”, and is committed to cultivating outstanding innovative talents with both Chinese cultural heritage and international vision, providing a successful model for exploring high-quality, distinctive and diversified development of senior high school education.
Centering on the educational goal of “diverse development, international connection, and outstanding academic leadership”, we have jointly established the Harbin Institute of Technology – Shenzhen Middle School Innovation Experimental Class with Harbin Institute of Technology. We have innovated the educational model and carried out multi-level, cross-disciplinary and borderless subject activities. Through the integration of internationalization and academicization in the curriculum system, we provide a diverse development platform for students and cultivate well-rounded, distinctive academic leaders.
To assist students in achieving diverse academic goals, the International Curriculum Center has been established. This center adheres to the core concept of “rooted in China, facing the world”, and is committed to cultivating outstanding and innovative talents with a profound understanding of Chinese culture and an international perspective. The center adopts the AP (Advanced Placement) curriculum system certified by the College Board of the United States, offering a wide range of AP subjects including AP Calculus, AP Physics, AP Economics, AP Statistics, AP Computer Science, and AP Psychology. It supports students in flexibly choosing courses based on their interests and professional directions.
